Objectives

Upon completion of the session on The Productive Therapist, each participant will be able to:

Recognize the primary activities of high productive and low productive therapists.
Identify the similarities and differences between high and low productive therapists.
Understand the role of quantity in providing quality therapy.
Identify common strategies that lead to higher productivity.
Develop a personal plan of action to enhance their productivity.

Narrative Description

This workshop will consist of group discussion, interactive learning sessions, and presentations designed to help Rehab managers and especially staff examine the characteristics of therapists with high and low output. An emphasis will be placed on worker and workgroup success strategies. Cases will focus on the examination of productivity strategies in the everyday world of the treating therapist and working manager.

This workshop will benefit novice and experienced managers and staff in any of the rehab disciplines.
