Audience: Rehab Managers and staff

Upon completion of the session on managing organizational change, each participant will be able to:

1. Examine the process of change to identify typical pattern of coping.
2. Recognize and analyze common coping behaviors seen in managers and staff during organizational change.
3. Develop strategies to lead and manage in a rapidly changing environment.
4. Develop strategies to help staff develop positive coping behaviors
5. Develop a personal plan of action to enhance their managerial effectiveness.

This workshop will consist of group discussion, interactive learning sessions, and presentations designed to improve the management skills of the Rehab manager in a rapidly changing environment. An emphasis will be placed on developing positive change strategies in the manager and in the worker. Cases will focus on the examination of stress and frustration in the everyday world of the manager.

This workshop will benefit novice and experienced managers and staff in any of the rehab disciplines.
